    Gist – Summary of document: e.g. a French document summarised in English
    This service is perfect for customers who need to know the gist of a foreign-language document, but do not need a full translation – this may also be used to assess the need for a full translation at a later stage. Your document(s) will be assigned to a professional translator who is native in the target language, and a 500-word summary of its content will be produced in the specified language(s).

  • Classic translation

    Classic – Translation only: e.g. translation of a French document into English
    This service is perfect for customers who need a full translation of their document for internal use within the company, but will not be publishing the document on a website or in print. Your document(s) will be assigned to a professional translator who is native in the target language, and all content will be accurately and professionally translated into the specified language(s). The translator will “self-proofread” their own work for consistency and to eliminate spelling and typographical errors.

  • Premium translation

    Premium – Translation and proofreading: e.g. translation of a French marketing leaflet into English
    This service is perfect for customers whose documents will be published on a website or printed, and so need to double-check word choices and the style of the translation. Your document(s) will be assigned to a professional translator who is native in the target language and specialising in the relevant sector, and all content will be accurately and professionally translated into the specified language(s). The translations will then be proofread by a second, independent linguist – this ensures that decisions regarding style, tone, register and terminology are taken objectively.

  • Creative translation

    Creative – Transcreation: e.g. a French magazine localised to a UK audience
    This service is perfect for customers whose documents (normally creative and/or literary) are very culturally-specific, and need to be rewritten for a new target culture. The service comprises translation, localisation, proofreading and copywriting by individual native speakers of the target language(s) specialising in the relevant sector. By using a team of linguists we ensure that all decisions regarding style, tone, register, terminology, cultural-specific items, and design are taken objectively.
