LEGAL TRANSLATIONS

Our attention to detail

Complex contracts and legal documents can be difficult to understand, even when written in your native language. So it’s no surprise that these types of documents require specialist legal translations by translators who are fully trained in legal terminology. For legal translations, we only work with expert legal translators who have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the legal profession. They recognise the importance of attention to detail and accuracy of language in our legal translation services. Our Project Managers are also all trained translators, meaning they will understand your requirements and be able to offer you helpful advice and support. Our motto is ‘Passion for Language’ – which can be seen in the quality of our services and the enthusiasm of our staff.

  • We only use professional translators in providing you with legal translations
  • All of our translators sign non-disclosure agreements
  • All of our translators have experience in specific sectors

Confidentiality

All our staff and translators sign non-disclosure agreements and work under the strictest confidentiality. In most cases, legal translations and their originating documents will only be viewed by your personal Project Manager and your assigned translator, and both will remain impartial and unbiased throughout the translation process. Laws and legal structures clearly vary from country to country, so we make sure we assign translators who are native to the relevant country, who have a full knowledge of the legal variances involved.

  • Website translation

Having your website translated will open up a vast new potential client base. You will also help your company appeal to minority groups, such as native Punjabi speakers or native Polish speakers in the UK. Think of it this way: if you visit 10 websites and only one is written in your native language, which one will you be mostly likely to buy services from?

Our legal website translators are the best in the business. They have at least 5 years’ experience in the legal industry and only translate into their mother tongue, to ensure the highest quality possible.

  • Localisation/localization

Localisation, or localization, is the process of adjusting a document or website to the cultural differences within distinct markets. Localisation involves not just modifying the language, but also all the other elements of a document, including symbols, colours, images and layout. It is a way of ensuring the cultural implications of your document generate the same positive reaction in any target market.

Localisation of legal documents will ensure that the documents are referring to the relevant laws and regulations unique to the specific target country, and that the correct terminology is used.

  • Multilingual desktop publishing

The layout of legal documents can be an important aspect in ensuring clarity and ease of understanding, as well as accordance with regulations and specifications.

If the document you need translating also involves any kind of design, we have multilingual desktop publishing experts who can work according to your specifications. We work on both PC and Mac, using all major desktop publishing softwares.
